Idea: rediscover Beirut in a smart fortwo.
A competition was developed where participants got the car and an iPhone to rediscover the city and through a geo-tagging smart app, share their experiences online. 422 locations were unlocked.
The locations were rearranged and placed onto the Unlock Beirut Map - accessed by smartphones via unlockbeirut.com. Through geo-tagging, you can discover unlocked spots near by, comment, like or post them on your Facebook page. A one-of-a-kind map that pinpoints consumer-generated shortcuts, parking spots and landmarks, exclusively updated by smart car drivers.
