Brief Explanation

The Today I Will film is part of an initiative aiming at unlocking individual potential while also staying true to the values that shape Middle Eastern society. It stars real youth who we met on the streets during the initial phases of the initiative. While skateboarding, dancing, underground music and female driving are taken for granted elsewhere, these still represent challenges to many in our region. We touched base on these tension points including women’s empowerment, a young man’s acceptance in a traditional space, women’s voting and others. In the film, the music is a fusion of traditional Arabic and Contemporary Western styles, reflecting the two contrasting worlds of the Middle Eastern youth.
