Brief Explanation
Due to the latest events and developments in the Arab world, it was a great opportunity to spread a message of unity and pride amongst Arabs. It was a wake up call, a reminder that we – Arabs - speak one language, share one great history and values. Our present is inter-laced, and together we shape a brighter future. We wanted every individual to feel as an Arab, not just Qatari, Moroccan, Iraqi, Yemeni, etc., and we belong to one nation. The Arab nation.
With 21 Arab countries gathering in Qatar, the Arab Games 2011 was the perfect stage for Arabs to demonstrate their unity and pride.
Being a telecoms company, Qtel’s role grew further during the Games by opening channels between Arabs to connect and express their pride. With this spirit and togetherness, everyone was a winner.
Qtel. We salute our Arab pride.
