Brief Explanation
The story.
Following a group of African (Nigerian) girls going to school singing about doing it better today, “Pinky Vicky” is late behind because of her periods. When Always is introduced to her by her friends, she forgets all the issues coming from using the tissues and she confidently and joyfully leads the growing bunch of girls to get to school on time and do it “betta betta” today.
Cultural reference.
Girls in Africa and specifically in Nigeria face many challenges when it comes to their period management. Often, because of the lack of protection, and the fear of leaking, their journey to school, and the day at school are not as they would like it to be.
