Nokia launched the N8 regionally to an audience that's very active on Facebook. Their most popular activity was taking pictures with their mobiles and posting them on Facebook.
To edit pictures, they had to use an external application, save the image and upload it to Facebook. Nokia N8 PikFlik made personalised photo-editing possible – a state-of-the-art app that allowed them to add emoticons, speech bubbles, draw with different brushes and write messages. Users could now manipulate and share pictures with friends.
