Brief Explanation
Batelco wanted to become the face of the World Cup in Bahrain while being perceived as an official sponsor.
We created Debate the Game – the platform to discuss, analyse and argue about the game, which traveled on matchdays to where fans were. Debates were streamed live and at cinemas. 24 debate videos were uploaded on Facebook & Youtube leading to more debates, comments, tags, posts, and multi-layered interactions.
In 4 weeks, fans from 22 countries joined the Facebook page generating over 900,000 wall impressions. For the fans in Bahrain Batelco became the face of the World Cup.
