Brief Explanation
The challenge: Create hype and buzz about the launch of the new Android Smart Phone in Oman.
The creative solution: Internationally, the mascot for Android is an illustration of a LITTLE GREEN ALIEN.
We turned this illustration into a 3D live character and posted clips that show “SIGHTINGS” of him and his spaceship around Muscat on Youtube and Facebook.
The result:
Youtube:
Over 60,000 VIEWS between all five “SIGHTING CLIPS” posted. Over 23,000 views for the single most viewed clip.
Facebook:
Over 550 MEMBERS.
Sales:
The entire stock of Android Smart Phones were sold out in just TWO WEEKS!
