The Brief
The objective was to create an end-of-year gift to send to our existing clients, potential clients, and friends. This gift would be sent during a season when people received dozens of corporate cards and gifts, making it an interesting challenge to create something that would stand out and make a lasting impression in the minds of recipients. The strategy was to highlight our total solution-oriented approach, how we are able to handle projects from research to final design and implementation.
Creative Execution
The creative execution was relevant to the brand as it built on our total-solution approach, showing how we go from research to marketing to implementation. The large format played an important role in its success, based on the insight that size matters in the Middle East, and the QR code played on how many people in the Middle East are interested in exploring new technologies. It also allowed us to showcase the company as one that can customize any existing brand identity within allowed perimeters, using a complete solution-oriented approach, and to do so using simple and affordable techniques.
Describe the creative solution to the brief/objective.
The idea was to design a set of creative and useful wrapping papers based on users, occasions and themes. We also created a guide of wrapping solutions and a premium envelope holding a QR code. Once the recipient scanned the QR code using a smart phone, he/she was connected to the e-card site created by ilevel. This allowed us to widen our reach and send greetings outside our recipients list, allowing more people to enjoy our gift.
Results
We sent 300 cards and, in just less than a month, the greeting site had around 1,030 clicks. We also received dozens of thank-you emails from clients, CEOS and friends from companies such as International Investment Bank, Bank Audi and Nestlé, amongst others.
