The Brief

For the first time on television, National Geographic Channel was telecasting exclusive footage of World War 2 in COLOR. Experts painstakingly colored every frame of the black and white footage. We had to increase awareness of the telecast amongst media agencies.

Creative Execution

Describe the creative solution to the brief/objective.

We created a direct mailer, which consisted of a black and white picture and a paintbrush. The picture had color dots embedded in it. On brushing the picture with water, the dots released their color. Making the black and white image colorful.

Results

Every media agency we send the direct mailer to, called back to enquire about the program. Callers often praised the direct mailer and found it very innovative and interactive.
