Brief Explanation
The timing of Ramadan changes every year and recently it's been coming during the summer, and therefore people are less excited and enthused to welcome it as the fasting hours will be longer and harder due to the thirst. During these hours certain stereotypes evolve:
- The person who can’t operate without his daily fix of caffeine or nicotine. Its absence is making him edgy and snappy and therefore unable to function in his workday.
- The person who sleeps through the morning and only interacts at night, where there’s no fasting.
- The person who becomes aggressive due to thirst and hunger. His anger will lead him to break his fast by cursing (which is not permissible during Ramadan).
