One of the most crucial moments of any person’s day is when they drink their cup of coffee. It’s the most important thing in the morning and sometimes a booster in the afternoons, and nothing can make your day as much as when that cup is just right. Unfortunately; with French coffee, getting the formula right every time for that perfect cup is almost impossible, weather you are buying it or trying yourself at home. The film took true Egyptian insights the consumer faces daily and used exaggerated humor with a catchy rap-song to relate to the target. Showcasing the different failures, a person experiences daily to make one good cup of French coffee; from too much water leading to a diluted taste, to no foam, to too much or not enough sugar, the struggle seems endless, but with Bonjorno Talqema the perfect French coffee is possible.

Cultural / Context information for the jury

The film uses different Egyptian insights, and tools they use to attain the perfect cup of French coffee. The ‘Kanaka’, is the tool; a small metal cup with a handle, used as the tool for making French coffee. You add all your ingredients inside and heat it over the stove or fire to blend your French coffee together. It is not an easy tool, you need to get the ingredients just right, and heat it for just the right amount of time to get the perfect cup of French coffee.
