Background.
Emoji’s have transformed the way we communicate. These modern days hieroglyphics enrich our everyday written communication adding an additional layer of emotion to our day to day conversation. As part of world emoji day every brand from the US Army, to subway, to Nestle was getting in the action, and trying to steal a share of the conversation.
As part of Nissan’s always on triggers strategy, we developed a unique creative execution to drive awareness and familiarity of Nissan’s most exciting and dynamic super car, the Nissan GT-R.
Describe the creative idea.
The GT-R is Nissans one and only super car. It blends incredible performance, with sleek design. We needed to bring GTR’s performance and design to life in a unique and creative way that leverages the topically relevant conversation happening around World Emoji Day.

Describe the execution.
To bring the idea to life, we created a fun and playful short form video and shared them across our social platforms. Content was promoted on Facebook and Twitter and posted organically on Twitter.

In one day, the spinning heads post generated the following results:
3.1 million impressions (+1,048% increase versus average trigger content posts)
250,000 video views (+1,288% increase versus average trigger content posts)
42,000 engagements (+61% increase versus average trigger content posts)
