Brief Explanation
The film is about a gangster boss who discovers there is something big and new happening in the country. So he sends his cronies to town to discover what this ‘big news’ is. When they come back they tell their boss it’s a big offer by Zain Iraq, a one of a kind offer that everyone is raging about. When he finds out about the offer he is overjoyed and turns from mean to happy.
Execution
The process was authentic and genuine to the ‘gangster’ genre, through and through - From set to casting selection, to wardrobe, lighting and filming. In order to pull off a true gangster spoof, the two main characters used are actual Iraqi comedians with a solid fan base, to ensure the right amount of humor is injected into the film to attract the Iraqi mass audience.
