Deliveroo prides itself on delivering food perfectly — with better trained delivery drivers and higher standards overall. Deliveroo believes in their promise so much so, they offer a ‘Delivery Quality Guarantee’ that protects customers against deliveries that turn up less than perfect. We needed to bring to life this USP in an eye catching way. We know that any dish delivered is only as good as its delivery. No matter how good the chef is, how amazing the ingredients, or how big the reputation of the restaurant, if it’s delivered badly, it’s ruined, plain and simple — ending up in the many “One-Star” reviews found about food delivery disasters online. So we decided to research the One-Star reviews of our competitors.

Tell the jury about the art direction.

Introducing: THE DISHES YOU WON’T GET WITH DELIVEROO. We used the One-Star reviews of our competitors’ delivery disasters to inspire new never-seen-before dishes. These included dishes blended together in the delivery bag, food delivered late, spilt or damaged in transit, or with missing items. We designed, wrote, and shot each dish as if it was a high grade cookbook — bringing to life the DISHES YOU WON’T GET WITH DELIVEROO with the same craft we could expect from real dishes.
