The film opens to a disclaimer of dates the data was collected for. It then moves onto poignant images of Afghans who need help. An Afghan flag emoji and the number of reactions that used it in relation to the Afghan crisis appear with typing sounds. This is followed by the line ‘If we had a dollar for every 🇦🇫’ and the help those dollars could have made possible for people of Afghanistan through ICRC. The same continues across more emojis and different real-time needs that could have been met if only those emojis were dollars, over moving visuals. The film ends with the line ‘Real reactions can make a real difference’ and the CTA to donate now to ICRC.
