Background

NEOM is a bold and audacious vision of what a New Future will look like (in fact, NEOM means “new future”). It is something that has never been done before at a time when the world needs fresh thinking and new solutions. NEOM will be a destination and a home for people who dream big and want to be part of building a new model for exceptional livability, creating prosperous businesses, and new ways of looking at sustainability. NEOM will be an accelerator of human progress. Our goal is to create a Digital Consolidated Model for NEOM through the NEOM.com platform, that will combine content performance, visitor engagement, site performance and technology effectiveness

Describe the creative idea (40% of vote)

NEOM is a new vision of what the future could be. It will not only be a destination, but a home for people who dream big and who want to be part of building a new model for sustainable living. Careful consideration was given to the overall design to encapsulate this vision, and to appeal to our vast target audience of investors, businesses and the general population. Clean elements and icons gave the site a professional feel, while dynamic components helped enhance the innovative aspect of this ambitious project. Each component stayed true to the guidelines set in place but were also flexible enough to adapt to new content and future enhancements to the site.

Describe the execution (40% of vote)

Design and development team work closely together and share the responsibility in applying design patterns and styling guides. These are sourced from the NEOM brand guidelines. Design and developers focus on paints and colors, texts, effects, layout grids to create a pleasant look and feel for the website visitors. Once a design is completed and approved by the client to ensure it meets the client's expectations and satisfaction, it enters the development cycle. During the development, several syncs and reviews are conducted to ensure a flawless delivery. The scalability of the components allows designers to choose elements to materialize the client’s and creative & content briefs.

List the results (20% of vote)

Value added to brand: The NEOM.com design is in sync with the NEOM brand guidelines and elevates it for the digital space and in website visitors’ minds. Value for consumer: Thanks to the clean design, Information is easy to digest and supports conveying NEOM’s pillars and values. Reach/cultural impact: NEOM.com user friendly design contributes in bringing a pleasant and rich experience to visitors. The KPIs of the .com (cf. section ‘’List of results’’ above) backs up the interest and exploring durations of users for which design contributes highly. 52 designed and developed components for NEOM.com 13.2M visits in 2021 which is 800% vs Year-to-date 2020 More than 110 M impressions in less than 4 hours for our last launch +9.1M Digital interactions on NEOM.com including triggered events +4M user-acquisitions received on NEOM.com with 16% retention 4,981,358 sessions, accumulating A total of 95,476 hours 69sec on NEOM.com 42,773 business leads generated
