stc, the largest telecom company in Saudi Arabia, offers customers the ability to stay connected to its network when visiting public locations like malls and coffeeshops. The service, which is completely free, offers users 100% security, protecting them from hackers and lurkers who prey on victims connecting to Public WiFi.
But the challenge was two-fold:
- Saudis were unaware of the security risks of connecting to a random network when outside, like at the mall or coffeeshop.
- They didn’t know stc’s secure WiFi service existed
So, stc needed to make Saudis aware of the dangers of connecting to Public WiFi and promote its safe network.
