This film marks the launch of Zain’s 5G (fifth generation) wireless network. We wanted to give it a fifth generation look and feel. To break away from the pack, and what has become the standard look for telecom films in the region. A fresh, animated, collage on film just to ask..the proposition. What can 5G do for you?

We knew this film had to be well crafted. Through the use of mixed media and a range of eclectic cast narrated by a powerful voice over. Using post production to introduce an element of playfulness, imagination and the “anything-goes” attitude of generation Z. Every shot had to have its own look and feel. Its own textures. Each shot was crafted carefully with eye-candy frames, hand-drawn illustration, stills, tricks and gimmickry, to give it a native social-media user generated content feel. The use of typography in production design was also key, inspired by millennials, Pinterest, Instagram and overall urban culture.
