Write a short summary of what happens in the film.

This is a series of 5 webisodes. The first film introduces the main artist, who also serves as a mentor to the 3 upcoming artists. The following 3 webisodes introduces her proteges – the Photographer, the Light artist and the Calligrapher. In the build up to the main film, each of the artists talk about what inspires them and why it’s important for women artists to leave behind a legacy for the next generation. We also see them collaborating on their art piece of Legacy. The final film shows the artists prepping in studio to create their art. As the lights go out, a BMW 8 Series drifts its way over a cordoned off race track, as the driver follows directions laid out by the artists. The lights of the car form a piece of Arabic Calligraphy using long exposure photography to create a light-painting of the word ‘INSPIRE’.

Cultural/Context information for the jury.

Women in the region have always had a profound impact in the field of arts and creativity. Yet, they have never been given a platform to show their individuality or personal take on the "legacy" they wish to build. Our campaign portrays them as not just women and not just artist but as "women artists", who have a voice and expression of their own. Our campaign brings out the deep insight of a collective art heritage that women in the region share with their families and nation, that have supported them into being better, true, original progressives.
