Brief Explanation

The film commences at a Qatari desert camp. Our hero checks his watch, jumps into his car only to find he's out of petrol. He takes out his phone to call for help when suddenly the Qatari Rally Champion pulls up and takes him on a wild ride through the desert passing iconic local landscapes. He arrives at the roadside and is picked up by the Qatari MotoGP champion who brings him to his next stop where he joins the Qatari Powerboat champion. As they cut through the water on their way to the city, the evening is creeping in. Our hero arrives at the dock to thunderous applause and is carried to stage surrounded by Qatari personalities where we reveal a big red button. He presses it, fireworks explode and officially launches the National Day celebrations linking that Together Everything Is Possible.

Results

The challenges faced in pulling this film together were epic. With 4-weeks to plan, execute and complete this production, innovation and improvisation were the order of the day. With a daily crew of 56, the production management job alone was significant. Shortages of locally sourced equipment meant we had to improvise at every turn as we didn't have enough time to ship it into the country. Throughout the 6-day shoot, our rally car had burned through 2 gearboxes, our powerboat needed a replacement engine and a hole, not to mention the task of aligning celebrity schedules / egos which was akin to herding cats. Our Russian Arm for the auto scenes stuck in customs so we improvised and flew in a world class Drone Operator to get us those unique shots. In a country where its sunny 362 days, it rained! Truly, we proved that "Together everything is possible".
