The Campaign
How do you promote an educational institution that was still being constructed? Would it look like one of those fly-by-night colleges? How could we attract the right kind of people to show interest in something that was still physically non-existent? How could we evoke genuine interest from the right target? They’re designers. They’re creative people. Let’s talk to them in their language – design.
Creative Execution
We went in for a typography driven approach that were modelled around different items that are fashion-connected. Multiple messaging induced with minimal layouts and vibrant colours - with a single minded proposition that CFD is the place to be - was spread out across Print, BTL, Digital Ads - driving students to discover more about the college and request for admissions.
Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
The first batch at the College of Fashion & Design has started on the 12th of February, 2017!
Even though research showed that parents play a major role in deciding the college where their children went to, we decided to influence the children so that they could influence their parents. Prospective students to the college were creative and design inspired. If we could get them to notice the college and build an impression in their minds that this is where they wanted to be - then they would do the harder job of convincing their parents.
