Creative Execution
Our agency delivered the complete content, design and development of the DSCS microsite and maintained it throughout the complete project life-cycle. The site features complete event information including; detailed agenda, speakers’ info/bio’s, venue details and a registration section in addition to a blog and media section.
To increase the microsite's visibility and drive traffic, we carried out ongoing SEO refinements to ensure high visibility in search engines.
To secure the microsite from hackers we implemented AntiVirus + Firewall (WAF) 2-in-1 solution providing end-to-end security. This high-end solution thoroughly protected the site from all vulnerabilities throughout the duration of the project.
The DSCS microsite clocked more than 6,688 visits from October 11th to December 22nd, of which 3,645 were unique visitors from around the world. The page also attracted over 1,080 registrations for an event that had a max capacity of 350.
Web stream attracted 750 streams and a wide geographic reach both within the UAE and internationally. 9 out every 10 viewers watched at least 30 minutes of the programme, while 7 out every 10 watched at least 3 hours. Out of 730 visits about 580 visits came from the UAE and the rest, from other countries.
The Dubai Sustainable Cities Summit (DSCS), is a major international event that aims to provide a forum to debate and present best global practices on sustainability for the built environment. To attract delegates from the private and public sector who have a genuine interest in sustainability, the microsite had to be content-driven with emphasis on content from speakers (blog) and highlighting the various UAE national strategies that emphasised the country's commitment to sustainability. All this influenced and drove the design and implementation of the microsite.
