Egyptian male teenagers are not in the business of doing any good plainly because no teenager wants to be labelled as “good”. And because of that everyone anticipates their wrongdoing, whether it’s their teachers, the cops, their parents, anyone who isn’t a teenager; they are all trying to catch them in the act and every teenagers know they are being watched at all times. So what’s the immediate indicator that someone is up to no-good? MESSY HAIR. So even if they are caught literally doing what they aren’t/shouldn’t/couldn’t be doing, if they “look good” they’ll deceive anyone. Here we simply see the story of a teenager doing no-good, and when he’s caught he transforms into different excuses, whether it’s “acting like a woos”, “play dead”, “pretending he’s a foreigner” but what remains the same is that he has good hair through all of them- so whatever excuse he uses, if his hair looks good then he’s LITERALLY good-to-go.
