Brief Explanation

Titled ‘In Love with Fashion’, the 2014 Limited Edition Calendar, showcased the 12 visuals shot by renowned fashion photographer Tejal Patni and styled by international designer Furne Amato. The calendar was a lavish and artistic display of 6 key fabrics along with the style and design aesthetics that have been a part of Splash’s fashion journey over the years. The objective was to tastefully blend styles and silhouettes, timeless fabrics and design aesthetics of the brand and the fashion it provides to create 12 visuals that sum up the Splash Limited Edition 2015 Calendar.The purpose of the calendar was to help raise the brand’s equity i.e. Splash and create a Calendar that will not just cater to the creative sensibilities of our stakeholders, media and partners but also something that will appeal to our regular consumers. The calendar every year is well received especially by our consumers who can get a desktop version of the same on a minimum purchase at the store and so far almost 200,000 copies have been given out. We additionally also witnessed an increase in our sales during this period. On the Social Media front an App was created that allowed users to read their personal fashion horoscope and download the same to use as their wallpaper, which reached 100,000 users. The launch was highly driven through PR activities which also involved Behind-the-Scenes exclusive with magazines like Friday, Femina, Ara and online portals like Style.com/Arabia and post launch which resulted in coverage worth AED 5 million till date.
