Brief Explanation
UBCI an affiliate of the international banking group BNP Paribas, provides account management, support and financial services to its private and corporate clients. Today, she's positioned in Tunisia as a brand, who cares about Tunisians social problems, her signature 'the bank for a changing world' confirms its position. She regularly performs actions, taking the example of its campaign to help renovating the International Museum of Bardo after the terrorist attack in March 2015.
The Brief
Following the alert that has been launched this year by the Tunisian government about the ecological crisis in the country. UBCI bank wanted to join this cause trying to help reducing the negative impact on the environment. To do this she had to find a repair action to involve its clients in the process.
How the final design was conceived
Every year, bank clients waste tons of paper, which end up in the streets due to some bad habits. In fact, during their banking transactions at ATM'S, the majority of Tunisians click always 'yes' to the question 'Do you want a receipt? Once printed, these receipts end up on the streets while on the other side of the mirror, many children in need don't have a single notebook to learn.
The idea here is to find a solution that reduces paper wasting and helps a child in need to have paper.
Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
The campaign was spread all over the UBCI ATM's network encouraging clients to donate their receipts.
At the end of each month, all the collected receipts are sent to a recycling center in order to transform it into notebooks
Finally, We wanted to raise awareness among kids about the dangers of wasting by creating 'a postal notebook'.
So, we added special specifications to their design in order to transform them into envelopes. This design allows children to, in turn, donate their notebooks at the end of the school year in order to be recycled again and have a second life.
