As the region’s largest Arabic news network, our film daringly answers our network’s criticism of being biased and one-sided, by poignantly revealing all the diverse viewpoints our network supports, no matter how opposing they are. Creative Execution
The editing of our Brand Film is designed to invoke a heightened sense of emotion and to capture the raw, unfiltered and complete volatility of everyday life scenarios unfolding across the Arab World, seen through the eyes of Al Jazeera Arabic.
Great attention was spent on ensuring the editing conveys our main thematic element throughout the film of ‘diversity’, showing a region that is constantly changing and never stagnant in its movement, emotions or perspectives.
Timing and the sequencing of scenes add a visceral effect to the overall film, allowing you to feel each move and each sound with more power. We also wanted to ensure the editing has a sense of continuity when showing Al Jazeera Arabic journalists at the end of our film, portraying our journalists as just as opinionated, passionate and opposing in perspectives as the people of the region throughout the film.
