The Campaign
The film is a big musical video, where five of the most ranked artists of Egypt sang the sub brand’s anthem “without you, it’s incomplete”, all with hip beats of each brand that were supported by cool illustrations that followed the artists in the video. The artists are revealed one after the other to keep a sense of surprise for the audience before they all sing together at the finale of their mash up.
Creative Execution
For any project, the visuals effects are normally planned and completed during post production phase. However, our case was different as we had to plan for it during pre-production as it was an integral part of our film. We’ve used 2D design drawings and animation with effects. The effects and colorful drawings were in a context of a live action shot that was drawn on each moving element in each frame creating a fresh, unique one of a kind mood that was never implemented before. The animation had to be in a youthful mood interms of colors, movement and style; yet to be in contrast with each band to fit their mood.
