The Campaign

Our campaign is a series of humorous TVCs where huge 80’s stars desperately want to join youth collective bands that are a current youth stars. Their attempt to join this band is due to their desire to be seen as ‘young’ again. The stars would show up to the collective at various stages of making a song (at an audition, song writing stage, or a rehearsal) and try to convince them how they should be part of the song. They would even sing their own hit songs to them, in final attempts at convincing them that they belong. But the collective band would always politely turn them down.

Creative Execution

Our tariff campaign was exclusively designed for the youth through our main bands hero’s. Hammering on that, it had to be tackled through combing our most loved bands guardians that are stars of the time being while adding to them (Hameed, Anouhka & Medhat saleh) the old artists stars generation. The challenge was finding the right celeb’s that would have the perfect contrast between the old generation stars and new stars that would be acceptable by our youth target; and given that our current bands are stars for our generation, we had to get the old starts equivalent to Madonna, Prince, and Johnny Cash.
