The Campaign
The focus is on a little girl sitting in her bedroom alone with a book and pencil in her hand. The narration is her voice talking to her father but he’s not in the room. At first the girl is smiling and excited to be sharing happy news with her dad and we get a glimpse of her drawing in the book of her and him as stick figures with the word “baba” (which translates to Dad). But then there are tears coming down her cheek, her tone changes and she looks really sad and that’s because her father had passed away and she’s missing him.
Creative Execution
The commercial gives a voice and insight to the void, pain and sadness children endure when they lose a parent. Supreme Council of Health wanted to connect with parents on an emotional level to encourage them to take better care of themselves for the sake of their children, if not for their own sake.
