The Campaign

Waltzing down memory lane, spotlight is shed on the life of Ludwig van Beethoven. Fleeing from his abusive father, the rising teenage star paves his way to stardom. A musician that defied his disability to orchestrate his ninth symphony. The viewer is then metamorphosed to an alternate setting: a mechanic’s shop in chaotic Egypt. Despite Beethoven’s success, his popularity in Egypt has trickled down to a car horn. Just like Beethoven’s treasure trove of achievements, most Egyptians are oblivious to Bake Rolz’s slew of qualities. It is more than just a crunchy snack; it is a healthy filling treat. Oven-baked and made from premium wheat flour, it comes in six flavors. TRANSLATIONS: 1:38 seconds: Hit reverse, Maestro 1:58 seconds: Crunchy with a purpose

Creative Execution

Casting a Beethoven lookalike was no easy task; finding the right actor was integral. Confined to 50 extras, we were left with a spacious opera hall to fill to its brim. Consequently, the choice of angles was key and fusing two strikingly different filming techniques to create a seamless show reel. Opting to shoot in Hungary anamorphically to brush it with a stroke of filmic eye candy, and then switch to a more raw approach to capture Egypt’s chaos. The drastic shift in style was vital for the success of our concept.
