The Campaign

Walking down memory lane, the spotlight is shed on Beethoven’s life. Fleeing from his abusive father he paved his way to stardom. Beethoven defied his disability to orchestrate his ninth symphony. The viewer is then metamorphosed to an alternate setting inside a workshop in chaotic Egypt. Despite Beethoven’s success, his popularity in Egypt has trickled down to a car horn. Just like Beethoven’s achievements, most Egyptians are oblivious to Bake Rolz’s slew of qualities. It is not just a crunchy snack. Oven-baked and is made from premium wheat flour and comes in six flavors. TRANSLATION: 1:38 seconds: Hit reverse, Maestro 1:58 seconds: Crunchy with a purpose

Creative Execution

Two continents, four countries, three days, and one TVC. Remaining historically accurate and finding the perfect wardrobe was vital. Consequently, we traveled for an intensive garments hunt in Prague, Berlin and Budapest. Opting to rely on candlelight and fill light to portray life without electricity. After two days in Europe, we had six hours to shoot our main scene at the Opera. Restricted by budget, we had 50 extras to fill a spacious hall. Orchestrating their movement to ensure that the result is a brimming concert was arduous. With the absence of a technical supervisor, it was up to the production team to take over.
