Brief Explanation
Dubizzle is Egypt’s largest online portal of pre-owned items.
When they approached us to create a low cost tactical campaign aimed at selling certain categories of items, we knew we had to follow in the footsteps of their business. Just as they don’t produce their own products, and sell other people’s “pre-owned" products, we decided not to produce our own ads and instead created a campaign where we hijacked ‘pre-owned’ iconic pop culture footage. We used famous clips from songs and films in which the names of the items Dubizzle had for sale were called out repeatedly.
