Brief Explanation

A young guy has an appointment with his dentist. He is nervous and casually asks his dentist if the procedure was going to be painful. Instead of assuring his patient as most dentists do, the dentist does the exact opposite. The moment the dentist hears the word ‘pain’, he starts to tell an incredible spine-chilling story. His voice becomes intense, his eyes are narrow and cold, his whole persona changes as he speaks about a patient who discovered a dark secret and how the matter had to be taken care of – to keep the patient silent, forever. As the dentist tells the story, he begins to fiddle with his drill, as if preparing for something inevitable – leaving the young guy really terrified and wondering if the dentist is for real or not. The film ends with: “Everyone Has A Story. Tell Yours.” – encouraging aspiring filmmakers in the UAE to take part in the Samsung Short Film Contest.
