Brief Explanation

All mothers are somehow protective of their kids but Lebanese mothers are known for taking it a step further even as their children become fully grown adults. The reason behind it is somehow deeply rooted in the chaotic days of the civil war (1975-1990) but also from the recent violence flare-ups and food safety scandals in Lebanon. Therefore, every Lebanese can relate to this core message that is widespread within our families: we have either experienced it personally or know someone close enough who did.
