In the UAE, children die each year due to hyperthermia (overheating) from being left in unattended vehicles
Temperatures in cars can reach +30°C above atmospheric temperature within 10 minutes. Babies/children can die in this period of time. The temperatures reached in vehicles in the UAE are so high that it can bake cookies.
2014 - Abu Dhabi - 19-month old Emirati girl dies after family forgot her in their car.
2013 - Abu Dhabi - A 2-year old boy died after accidently getting locked in a car for almost 4 hours. Outside temperature was 42 degrees.
We needed a film that would bring this unspoken subject to the forefront.
