The Brief

The brief was simply to conquer the age-old habit of people(clients and friends) tossing Christmas cards after the season.So we set out to create a greeting card that is impossible to be disposed, by appealing to the inner need for gratitude and recognition every individual yearns for. Our unconventional Christmas card looked like a prestigious certificate awarded from an institution. Our targets; present clients and prospective ones were impressed, and they kept on commending the agency for it, even recommending us to several other clients as the agency to work with.

Creative Execution

SO&U as an Advertising Agency prides herself as a solutions provider; so being able to create a greeting card that has a shelf-life of forever is an insanely creative solution based on original thinking.

Describe the creative solution to the brief/objective.

We merged two worlds; the world of GREETING CARDS and CERTIFICATES to create the perfect card for the season. Creating a long-lasting feeling of appreciation and recognition. Over 5000 copies of "The All Season Christmas Card" were shipped out to clients and friends within and outside the country, which immediately got the agency hundreds of client calls and recommendation. Majority of the targets that received the card still have it on their tables and desks more than a month after Christmas.

Results

The agency has a yearly tradition of creating and distribution Christmas cards, but this year's "All Season Christmas Card" got the agency more than 100 calls of recommendation from clients, and the agency got invited for more than 5 pitches within the period of its deployment. The Christmas card is unarguably the best out of the region for the Christmas of 2014.
