Brief Explanation

When first meeting new clients, it's difficult to demonstrate creative capabilities. We felt a simple business card could be an effective and cost-effective solution, one that would set the tone for a meeting and leave a lasting impression.

The Brief

McCann Heath is an advertising agency specializing in healthcare communication. We wanted to create an impact when meeting prospective and new clients and demonstrate that creativity can make even run-of-the-mill items such as business cards memorable. Thus reinforcing our philosophy of connecting creativity and science.

How the final design was conceived

X Rays are intrinsically linked to healthcare. By creating tongue-in-cheek X Ray Cards for various members of our team and their titles, we added a new dimension to visiting cards. Because those receiving the card automatically hold it up to the light to read, there is an immediate interaction which engages clients and breaks the ice of most meetings.

Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market

The cards never fail to receive a smile and have broken the ice and created a conducive atmosphere for our meetings.
