Brief Explanation
When the Harlem Shake took the internet by storm in early 2013 and thousands of people followed, we saw an opportunity to do a shake of our own. But not like everyone else. We did it with a fun Volkswagen twist.
Creative Execution
We shot this film ourselves. Our junior graphic designer with his Canon 5D was the cameraman. The ACD directed. We made sure that we replicated the Harlem Shake Style of the original video and yet ensured a premium look for the Passat; it was a paid project by Volkswagen after all. The location was for free since we shot at a Volkswagen showroom. The edits were also done in-house.
