Brief Explanation
The Challenge
Ahead of the Euro 2012 Championships, Pepsi wanted to encourage fans to celebrate the football season through its ‘Kick in the Mix’ campaign – a fusion of football mixed with music.
The Solution
We created the Kick in the Mix mobile application, a completely immersive experience, packed with exclusive videos, content, music, behind-the-scenes photos, interviews and a stand-out augmented reality game, where fans could win a trip to meet ‘football superstar Lionel Messi!
The Efficiency
420,000 applications downloaded and 1.34m games played totaling 5m minutes of Pepsi interaction – in years, that’s nearly a decade! 84% of young Arabs now associate Pepsi with football – up 6%.
