Laundry lines are a very regular view in the Egyptian streets, and it's said that you can tell a lot about a household and it's residents from it's laundry lines, as nothing shows the true character of a person as what he wears (specially underwear) Marriage is the typical future plan in the Egyptian culture, male friends try to show toughness by giving you advice trying to keep you from making such a huge mistake and telling you other friends’ stories, but they end up making the same mistake themselves because it’s eventually just the thing to do.
