Brief Explanation
Cultural Reference: The film targets the very Lebanese problem of certain individuals making begging for money into a lucrative business. Studies showed that most of the street children begging for money around the city were not keeping the money for themselves but rather passing it on to their recruiters who were exploiting their poor situation.
Filmed from the point of view of driver, the film begins as a street child begging for money flags him down. The driver opens the window to hear the pleas of the boy and decides to give him some money. As he hands the money over, we see what at first seems to be the boy extending his hand to take it. We then are faced with the realization that it is in fact the hand of a much older man.
