Brief Explanation

Wataniya Telecoms (Nedjma) wanted to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of Algerian independence, a date that resonates in everyone's heart. Nedjma had the ambition to go further than advertising; to create a movement, an enthusiasm of the entire population. At the base were two main ideas: 1) a slogan that everyone wants to embrace: MAZAL WAKFIN (“Still Standing up”) 2) Another crucial point was music. The composer Baaziz was asked to write an emotional melody that will grab you from the first listening. Then the real innovation was to ask the most famous Algerian artists to take this melody and put in into their style. The wealth of Algerian talent allowed declining a classic version with the diva Warda El Djazairyia, a contemporary and rhythmic with Baaziz and Cheb Khaled. Allaoua allowed us to enjoy a Berber version which was a first for the institutional communication campaign. At the end, it was the variety of Algerian talent that Nedjma used to celebrate the anniversary. Beyond the stars the Algerian, hero films was population in all its diversity and its unity which shows that 50 years after they honor their ancestors while looking to the future with the same goal: prosperity and unity of Algeria
