Brief Explanation
There was no better way to introduce and explain Skittles to the region than to go back to the story of their very creation. So we came up with ridiculous tales about their origins, titled “WHERE SKITTLES COME FROM.”
An over emotional Mermaid that cries Skittles in a laboratory. A Chinese Whaler with a flute for a peg-leg in search of the illusive Rainbow Whale that squirt Skittles from its blowhole. And a down-on-his-luck Skittles Driller with a dead bird for a best friend.
The narrative was designed to work across multiple channels for maximum exposure and lead people to the Skittles Facebook Game engaging the “I’m so social on my phone” youth of today with slightly odd, but highly entertaining storytelling to great effect.
