Brief Explanation
This idea completely based on a Lebanese word play dialect. In the Lebanese language, one letter can change a name from male to female for example (Samir a male name and Samira a female name), one letter can separate one month from another for example (Azar is the month of March, Ayar is month of May). Some names even have different meanings, for example the name “Maarouf” is a common Lebanese name while at the same time the word Maarouf also means “ well known” and often used for celebrities. All these minor details have a big impact in whether or not the Lebanese people can vote during the elections. Because if one letter is missing, or changed by accident which often happens when officials copy your name down on the electoral list, then you are no longer allowed to vote. Our campaign plays on this in a humoristic way, encouraging people to check and correct their details before coming down to vote at the upcoming elections.
