Brief Explanation

In Lebanon, we have entire conversations using Missed Calls like Morse code. Lebanon ranks in the top 5 most expensive mobile telephony in the world (cost/minute). Over the years, Lebanese prepaid consumers (approx.90%) save their (highly expensive) phone credit: Never ‘accidental’ always intentional, MISSED CALLS became a form of communication (touch network experiences over 12,500 Missed Calls/hour daily), used as personalized codes which result in miscommunication. For example: traditionally Missed Calls are used to prompt others to “Call me back”. More complex: 1 Missed Call can mean: “I’ve left the house”, 2: “I’m running late”…etc. “Missed Call Taxi” in Lebanon even offers pick-up services to addresses linked to cellphone numbers. In reply to the increasing demand for cheaper prices, we created silent black & white movies, that further emphasize the fact that Lebanese do not use their mobile phones to full capacity - i.e: they do not call each other - to launch the 1st ever bundles for prepaid lines, announcing the end of an era for the Lebanese: The End of Missed Calls. Synopsis: A delivery-boy is sent on an errand. Due to lack of communication, he gets lost, encounters some obstacles and never manages to reach his destination.
