Brief Explanation

Reposition smart as the ideal city car for young executives. Idea: rediscover Beirut in a smart fortwo. A Facebook competition was developed where participants got the car and iPhone to rediscover the city and through a geo-tagging smart app, share their experiences onto the smart-Lebanon facebook page. The page attracted more than 32,000 online users from 16 cities around the world. With around 2,200page interactions/day. Compared to 2010, car sales increased by 54%. The Unlock Beirut Map was recently launched - updated by smart drivers. A first, that pinpoints consumer-generated discoveries for everyone to use online via unlockbeirut.com.
